Assessing California Communities’ Experiences with Safety Net Supports Survey II (ACCESS II)
The ACCESS II project leverages an existing cohort of families living with low-income in California, from whom we already have baseline data as a part of the original ACCESS project. The study uses a data-driven approach to test critical research questions with a rigorous, mixed-methods study design. ACCESS II affords a unique e opportunity to collect follow-up data from this same sample, and to address key gaps in existing knowledge relating to how COVID-19-era economic and social policies have affected family and children’s health, nutrition, and food security among families living with low income and racially and ethnically diverse populations in California.
